Mohan Ramchandani, joined by NBA legend, MSG announcer, and style icon Walt “Clyde” Frazier and former New York Jet and current ESPN broadcaster Anthony Becht, as men of the Doe Fund’s Ready, Willing and Ready program, helped recipients trade in their clothing for new custom-made Mohan’s suits, jackets and coats.
“There is no better time of the year to reflect on those in need. Our company wanted to help those less fortunate, as we have done for many years, to make a difference in their lives,” said Mr. Ramchandani, founder of the long-established and very popular Mohan’s Custom Tailors. ”When you give a person a new set of clothing, it can change their perception, outlook and performance in life.”
The Doe Fund helps thousands of people each year to better their circumstances through programs providing paid work, workforce development and job training.
The men of Ready, Willing & Able, can be seen cleaning more than 150 miles of New York City streets every day. “These gentlemen have worked very hard to build their education and skills for upwardly-mobile careers. Mohan’s generosity will help them to look and feel their best as they start searching for permanent employment, fully reintegrating into society as tax-paying citizens and fathers to their children,” said George McDonald, founder and president of the Doe Fund.
Continuing their season of giving, Mohan’s Custom Tailors’ will offer a $100 credit towards a new custom tailored overcoat, in exchange for an old coat in good condition as part of their winter coat drive.
