A successful prognosticator says upcoming planetary alignment does not favor Donald Trump

“Donald Trump is going to lose the general election. Bernie Sanders can easily win the general election on November 8th in a landslide victory over Donald Trump, if he can somehow win the Democratic nomination, whereas Hillary Clinton will have a very close race” says Gurmeet Singh, a highly successful California-based Indian-American practitioner of astrology for about 25 years.

Gurmeet Singh had ruled out, as early as on May 4, a win in the general election for Donald Trump, based on his reading of the multi-billionaire businessman and real-estate developer’s astrology chart.

On June 9, Singh stated: “During the Republican primaries in March-April, I had predicted that Trump will go through a very challenging time between May 20 and June 15.” Those inauspicious times have apparently continued since then for Trump, with some Republican members of Congress not showing wholehearted support. The months of August-September, close to the November 8 general election, are also “very challenging” for Trump, says Singh.

“Sometimes in astrology you know the time is very evil for an individual, but it is very hard to predict how this evil time will play out in an individual’s life,” Singh explains, so “the Republican establishment may even abandon Trump before the convention.” The convention is scheduled to be held July 18-21 in Cleveland, Ohio, where 2,470 delegates and 2,302 alternate delegates from all 50 states are expected.

“Bernie Sanders’ time is difficult until September this year. But after that Bernie will be in a much stronger period than Hillary Clinton,” says Singh, who has an impressive record of correct predictions published on his website (see list below).

“Sanders will be in the golden period of his life after September this year,” states Singh. He says that Bernie Sanders can easily win the general election on November 8, “if he can somehow win the Democratic nomination” (at their July 25-28 convention in Philadelphia) because his astrological chart shows an ‘auspicious’ period after September.

How would Sanders get the nomination, considering that as of today, with all primary contests over, he has a total of 1,880 delegates (1832 pledged plus 48 super delegates), far short – by 503 delegates – of the 2,383 required majority of the total 4,766 Democratic delegates?

On the other hand, Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, already has far more than the 2,383 required. On June 18 she had a total of 2,806 delegates (2,219 pledged plus 587 super delegates, but super delegates can switch to another candidate at the convention).

Singh’s June 9 update on his ‘2016 Presidential Election Astrology’ adds that based on his readings of three astrology charts, the months of August and September are not only “very challenging” for Hillary Clinton, but also for President Obama and Donald Trump. Singh writes that this period has “a very powerful influence on the general election and our political leaders may face some challenges, because the planetary energy is very negative during this time.”

In an average of 13 national polls on President Obama’s ‘job approval’ taken between June 6 and June 15, he received an average 51 percent ‘approval’ rating versus a 46 percent ‘disapproval’ rating, with a 3 percent margin of error. The lowest approval-disapproval ratio was 48-50 and highest was 53-41. There were 1,500 respondents described as ‘likely voters’ in each of these polls. Five each of these polls were conducted by Gallup and Rasmussen, while one each was conducted by Bloomberg, CBS News, and Fox News.

Meanwhile in an average of six polls taken between June 6 and June 15 – with a total 6,270 registered voters (average 1,045 respondents per poll) on whom they would vote for if given the choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump – 43 percent said they would vote for Clinton versus 36 percent for Trump. Only 79 percent responded, while 21 percent had no response. Two polls were conducted by Rasmussen, and one each by Bloomberg, CBS News, Fox News and Survey USA / Guardian. The poll results on Clinton, Obama, and Trump were published on www.pollheadlines.com.

Gurmeet Singh has correctly forecast at least a dozen major or notable events in the areas of: American presidential politics with victories and defeats, international tensions, and wars between nations. He has also accurately predicted a variety of occurrences in well-known peoples’ lives, including their business/career success, financial prosperity, marriage/divorce, childbirth, as well as arrest, conviction, sentencing, imprisonment, ill health, and even death.

Singh says that he is neither a Democrat nor a Republican, and his “analysis is always unbiased,” and he holds “independent views.” He looks at how the charts play out in actual events. He emphasizes that astrological predictions can be correct only if the birth times, not just birth dates of the individuals concerned, are precise. In this respect, he says: “I check only if the birth times are accurate.” For times of birth, he refers to “astro databanks that have an AA rating.”

He explains that in some instances, he can make a blanket prediction without any reservations, but in other situations, the indications of an event occurring are not clear. When he had read President Barack Obama’s chart on November 26, 2010 for example, he was quite certain, almost two years before the next presidential election, that Obama would be reelected.

Among his significant written predictions since 2009, arranged in chronological order from most to least recent, are the following:

On May 4, 2016 Gurmeet Singh wrote categorically: “Donald Trump is going to lose the general election.” As early as in October 2015, he had forecast Trump’s loss in the Iowa Republican primary caucus. This came to be true on February 1, 2016, when the votes cast were counted.

In September 2014 he predicted the conviction of the well-known Indian politician Jayalalitha in a case involving the ‘amassing of unaccounted wealth’ of more than $10 million. The conviction was handed down on October 6, 2014.

On April 11, 2014 he foresaw the sentencing later that year of South African athlete Oscar Pistorious to serve five years in prison for the ‘culpable homicide’ (unintentional but unlawful killing) of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. The sentence was rendered on October 21, 2014.

On April 7, 2014 he had predicted the onset of the second Syria-Iraq war later that year.

On March 9, 2012 Singh was confident enough to say that Mitt Romney will lose the American presidential election coming up in November of that year.

On August 10, 2011 Singh forecast the rising of tensions between the United States and China in the years ahead as a result of the U.S. dollar’s first-ever credit-rating downgrade (from AAA to AA+) by Standard and Poor’s on Friday, August 5. This downgrade sent shockwaves around the world, with China, the largest holder of U.S. Federal government debt, denouncing America for ‘short-sighted’ political wrangling, and calling for a new and stable, global reserve currency.

On February 10, 2011 he wrote of Steve Jobs’ impending demise. The iconic entrepreneur and Apple CEO passed away on October 5 that year.

As early as on November 26, 2010, about two years before the U.S. presidential elections, Gurmeet Singh predicted that Barack Obama would be reelected.

On June 6, 2010 he predicted the arrest of Joran van der Sloot, main suspect in the murder of Stephany Flores Ramirez who had died on May 30, 2010, and the abduction of Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005.

On May 29, 2010 Singh correctly predicted that Sandra Bullock will divorce Jesse James     soon. The divorce occurred on June 28, 2010.

In May 2010 Singh forecast that it will take several months to cap the source of the oil gushing out of the Deepwater Horizon, a British Petroleum oil rig. On April 10, there was a fiery explosion on this rig creating a huge fireball visible from 40 miles away. Eleven people were killed, and the rig sank to the ocean floor. A massive amount of oil – an estimated 210 million gallons – burst out into the Gulf of Mexico over a period of more than 90 days. The oil gusher was finally capped on July 15. It was one of the world’s largest environmental disasters.

On September 15, 2009 he foresaw the signing into law of ‘Obamacare’ in March 2010.

In 2009, Singh also foresaw more Obama wins after his election to the presidency on November 8, 2008. He predicted a fairly quick passage by both houses of Congress of the $787 billion ‘stimulus’ package. On Friday, February 13, 2009, less than a month after Obama’s inauguration, this bill was passed.

All these predictions were put into writing, with comments about their astrological basis, and his interpretations, on his own website at http://www.vedicnakshatras.com and on other websites.

Singh indicated in a 45-minute conversation on June 17 that there are many systems of Eastern and Western astrology, and each system has varying degrees of accuracy of predictions. While he is familiar with many of these including the widespread and popular Vedic astrology system, he practices the KP system, named after Krishnamurthi Paddhati, because it has yielded him the highest record of predictions that came true as those events happened.

He said that “good or bad things” do not happen to people in isolation but usually in relation to one another. He is part of what may be now be a subfield called ‘relationship astrology’ and is the author of the book Relationship Compatibility: Astrology for Love, Intimacy and Business.
